A leading global manufacturing giant is seeking a Commercial Lawyer to join the team in Hertfordshire.

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Legal and supporting a range of Commercial matters across the EMEA region, the Commercial Lawyer will be responsible for:

• Negotiating, drafting, and amending a wide range of Commercial Contracts, including high value customer agreements, international procurement contracts with global suppliers and sponsorship matters
• Developing an understanding of AI, its benefits and implications for Legal and the business as a whole
• Supporting with litigation matters with support from the wider team and external counsel
• Keeping up to date with the Data Privacy landscape, particularly in relation to USEU (Schrems)
• Advising the Sustainability team on best practise

The Person

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Contracts lawyer, ideally with some in-house experience, who is keen to take on a broad, international position within a highly-regarded function who provide key commercial and legal advice to the wider business units across Europe.

This position will allow the successful applicant to gain a first rate understanding of wider areas of law including Data Privacy and Competition.
