Litigation Solicitor - 2 years PQE +

What You'll Be Doing:

Step into a role that gives you genuine responsibility and the chance to make your mark. You'll:

  • Build strong client relationships and be their trusted advisor
  • Manage your own caseload with support on hand when you need it
  • Prepare pleadings, submissions and confidently represent clients in court, tribunals and mediation's
  • Develop negotiation strategies and deliver great outcomes for clients
  • Get involved in business development and help raise the profile of the team and firm
  • Work collaboratively with the firms other divisions
  • Mentor and support junior team members and trainees


What You'll Bring:

  • You're a problem-solver, a clear communicator and someone who enjoys getting to grips with complex issues.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years PQE, in litigation (flexible for the right person)
  • Experience in one or more of: Insolvency, Commercial or Residential Landlord & Tenant, Debt Recovery, Commercial Disputes, Contentious Executries, Employment Litigation
  • Confidence working with a variety of commercial and civil clients
  • Strong knowledge of Sheriff Court and Court of Session experiences
  • Advocacy experience - proofs, debates, motions, contentious hearings, mediation's
  • Excellent drafting skills and the ability to deliver clear, practical advice
  • A proactive mindset and enjoyment of both independent work and team collaboration
