I am looking for experienced financial planning support specialists based in London for a new opportunity with a highly regarded Financial Planning organisation. This role, supporting the financial planners, predominantly covers new business checking and the governance around this.

I am ideally looking for applicants who have experience of working within an FCA regulated Financial Planning organisation. You will have a good understanding of the various financial advice products, understand and work towards strict regulatory and compliance guidelines and also have experience of processing new business within an advice company.

Key aspects of the role are:

• Monitoring and checking new business submissions and cases
• Support colleagues with complex queries
• Communication of policy and governance changes to the wider business
• Reviewing existing procedures and suggesting improvements
• Working closely with an established team of peers to learn and develop off each other

This role will suit a financial services support professional who has a particular interest in the compliance/governance/checking aspects of the financial planning process. You will ideally have some industry qualifications (CII, CISI) but full support will be given to attain these within the role.
