Job description

Are you an experienced insurance professional with a flair for sales and relationship building? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while keeping the customer at the heart of everything you do? If so, this opportunity could be the next step in your insurance career.

We're partnering with a leading specialist insurance broker that's undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation within their Education Division. They're looking to expand their New Business team with dynamic, customer-focused Client Executives who are passionate about developing relationships, winning new clients, and delivering exceptional advice.

This role is ideal for someone who has prior experience within insurance sales or broking and is keen to progress within a supportive, people-first organisation.
What You'll Be Doing

  • Proactively prospecting and securing new business across the education sector.
  • Building strong, lasting client relationships and understanding their insurance needs.
  • Delivering tailored insurance solutions via phone, video, and in-person meetings.
  • Attending key industry conferences to develop networks and generate leads.
  • Working closely with internal service, renewal, and partner teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Using CRM tools to manage your pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.
  • Promoting cross-sell opportunities and introducing clients to wider business areas.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in the insurance industry, ideally in a broking or insurance sales environment.
  • A solid understanding of general insurance principles and FCA regulations.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets through effective relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative approach to sales.
  • Strong organisational and self-management abilities, capable of balancing priorities in a busy environment.
  • Knowledge of the education sector is advantageous, but full training will be provided.

What's on Offer

  • Comprehensive training and sector-specific development to help you succeed.
  • Full financial support for Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualifications.
  • A flexible working model - office or home-based, with collaboration days in Cheltenham.
  • A people-first culture that values autonomy, teamwork, and professional growth.
  • The opportunity to join a business that's employee-owned, fostering collaboration, innovation, and long-term stability.

You'll be joining a team that empowers its people, values individual input, and encourages career progression. If you're looking for an environment where your ideas matter and your success is rewarded, this is a fantastic opportunity.
