Paraplanner

Job description

Our Client is a highly regarded Chartered IFA Wealth Management practice in the North West and they are currently recruiting for an experienced Paraplanner to join their team in Wigan.

THE ROLE:

  • Providing technical, research and administrative support
  • Production of compliant and detailed client suitability reports and presentations
  • Discuss the client's needs and objectives with the relevant adviser
  • Undertake research to identify suitable solutions to meet the client's needs and objectives
  • Prepare information for analysis by the adviser
  • Prepare Cash-flow report where relevant
  • Help manage client relationship and taking/making calls in a polite and professional manner
  • Possible attendance at client meetings
  • Keeping full and compliant records on file
  • Liaising with advisers on a regular basis, to work on cases and provide updates
  • Prioritising workload in order to meet all deadlines
  • Occasionally taking on project work and assignments
  • Review investment portfolio, asset allocation, risk profile etc


PERSON:

  • You must have an excellent understanding of the Financial Planning process and a knowledge of financial services world
  • You should be able to plan and prioritise your own workload and work with minimum supervision
  • You will have excellent report writing skills and have a high technical knowledge
  • Diploma qualified (or Equivalent) as a minimum and committed to progressing to Chartered Financial Planner Status
  • Experience of Advisor Office
  • Experience of cash-flow modelling and Wrap platforms
  • Strong technical knowledge in the investment and pensions market
