A very rare position has arisen at this excellent IFA practice in Uddingston.
This firm is extremely well thought of in the industry and it is an exciting time for a new Paraplanner to join.
They work on a hybrid basis with 2 days in the office, 3 at home.
The role is really varied and some of the duties include:
- Support the Adviser in ensuring the annual ongoing suitability targets are met.
- Create Annual Suitability Reports and ensure the annual review process is completed on time.
- Review fact finds, file notes, client risk profile questionnaires etc. to gain an understanding of the client requirements.
- Undertake necessary research and analysis.
- Produce new business reports to a high standard and in line with processes and procedures.
- Create ad hoc letters for clients including fund switches and withdrawals.
- Support the Adviser with new business processing and onboarding journey on the CRM system, ensuring the system is kept up to date.
- Maintain compliant advice files on the CRM system.
- Take responsibility to ensure that all client communication is accurate, appropriate and delivered on time.
Your skills
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards). Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Previous experience of paraplanning is essential and the ability to work with templated suitability reports and to include additional bespoke explanations/discussions in order to personalise suitability reports outside of the standard wording.
- Good working knowledge of financial planning tools, products, and compliance standards.
- Ability to produce high-quality work with a strong focus on accuracy and detail.
