Job description
IDEX Consulting is partnered with one of the UK's fastest growing mid-tier pension consultancies in the search for an experienced Pensions PM to focus on their buy out transactional work.
You will work as part of a specialist projects department, with a clear focus on managing buy out/bulk annuity/ PRT transactions, from end to end.
You will be responsible for:
- Project manage and lead buy-in to buy-out /wind-up projects efficiently and within budget
- Manage a range of internal and external stakeholders, including trustees and their advisors, administrators, and bulk annuity insurers, to ensure delivery of the buyout/wind-up project
- This will include work-streams such as member communications, data verification and finalising the bulk annuity policy, dealing with AVCs and historic insured annuities, liaising with the insurer on pension and benefit reimbursement etc
- Help develop our internal processes and documents and may also be involved in pitching for new business
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing Pension Projects, specifically within Risk Transfer/Bulk Annuity/Buy out transactions.
Other backgrounds considered will consist of UK Defined Benefit experience, perhaps gained through a Wind-Up Advisor/Project Manager/Admin Manager/Client Relation Manager background.
