A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Paraplanner Manager to join a highly respected national financial planning business. This role is ideal for a confident people leader with strong technical knowledge and proven experience managing high-performing paraplanning teams.
As Regional Head of Paraplanning, you will be responsible for leading, developing and motivating a team of Paraplanners and Report Writers to deliver high-quality technical support and written advice to Advisers across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, coach and develop a regional team of Paraplanners and Report Writers
- Oversee workflow, resource allocation and service delivery in line with business needs
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, appraisals and set clear development plans
- Support Advisers by providing high-quality technical and paraplanning expertise when required
- Promote consistent standards across all offices and ensure advice meets compliance and quality benchmarks
- Drive continuous improvement across the paraplanning function, including processes and productivity
- Monitor quality, KPIs and service levels, ensuring the team delivers accurate, compliant and timely work
- Identify opportunities to enhance client experience and improve adviser efficiency
Requirements
- Proven people management experience within a paraplanning function
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, retirement planning, SIPPs and IHT
- Experience managing teams across multiple offices is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels
- Ability to balance commercial needs with compliance requirements
- Confident working under pressure, managing deadlines and prioritising effectively
