This exciting role offers the opportunity to work with key figures in the cyber insurance market and to communicate modelling output and portfolio insights that help clients make informed insurance and reinsurance decisions.

The cyber reinsurance market has been growing rapidly in recent years, making this an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding area. The successful candidate will work within the London-based cyber analytics team and will be responsible for building client relationships, delivering catastrophe modelling analytics, and developing bespoke modelling and data solutions.

The analytics team is widely recognised in the industry for its expertise. The team provides clients with trusted advice across a broad range of areas, from natural and man-made catastrophes (including terrorism and cyber) to capital management and portfolio optimisation solutions.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, your day could include:

  • Using cyber risk and reinsurance models to generate and present modelling output and portfolio insights for clients
  • Working closely with brokers and actuaries to support client relationships, including creating and delivering presentations, maintaining regular touchpoints, and understanding reinsurance needs
  • Supporting team efforts to develop, automate, and maintain global data sets and analytics offerings, with opportunities to take on ownership
  • Reviewing and stress-testing various cyber vendor models, contributing to the development of a consolidated view of the current modelling landscape
  • Collaborating with global colleagues to maintain a coordinated strategy and best practices
  • Staying up to date with developments in the cyber (re)insurance market and evolving cyber risk landscape

Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior experience with end-to-end catastrophe modelling
  • Familiarity with cyber catastrophe models (e.g. CyberCube, Moody's RMS, Guidewire) is advantageous but not essential
  • A passion for delivering value to clients
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply knowledge to novel challenges
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic, collaborative team
  • Capacity to manage significant work-flow and respond quickly to clients' needs and priorities
  • Knowledge of a coding language (e.g. VBA, Python, SQL, R) is highly beneficial
