Responsibilities:

Lead and Develop the Team of Account Executives:

  • Provide visionary leadership, fostering a cohesive and dedicated community within our team of Account Executives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive training programs to enhance the insurance expertise and service skills of team members.

Ensure the Account Executives Hit Their Service SLAs:

  • Establish and maintain clear service level agreements (SLAs) and performance targets for the team.
  • Diligently monitor and assess team performance against SLAs, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Continually refine and optimise processes to improve the efficiency of insurance service delivery.

Be the Referral Point for the Team:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for complex client inquiries, escalated insurance matters, and other insurance-related issues.
  • Offer guidance and support to Account Executives in resolving intricate insurance issues.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships, fostering trust and loyalty.

Conduct Weekly Catch-Up Meetings with the Account Executives:

  • Schedule and lead regular one-on-one and team meetings to review performance, address concerns, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Utilise these meetings to establish objectives, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with our insurance brokerage's goals.

Hold Monthly Performance Reviews:

  • Administer comprehensive monthly performance evaluations for each team member.
  • Deliver valuable feedback and coaching to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Acknowledge and reward exceptional accomplishments.

Hold Quarterly Strategic Planning Meetings:

  • Collaborate with the management board to develop and execute quarterly strategic plans for the Client Service department, tailored to the insurance broking sector.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, team development, and client satisfaction improvement.
  • Closely monitor and report on the advancement of strategic initiatives.

Manage a Small Book of Business:

  • Look after a small portfolio of key clients.
  • Manage the client relationship throughout the renewal period and policy year.
  • Grow existing accounts where possible.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the insurance sector.
  • Preferable to have experience in a leadership role within the insurance sector.
  • Cert CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) qualification.
  • Preferably a clear plan and commitment to working towards the DIP (Diploma) or ACII (Advanced Diploma) qualification.
  • Proven track record of achieving and surpassing insurance service level agreements.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ideally proficiency in Acturis and HubSpot.
  • Strategic mindset and the capability to drive insurance process improvements.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
