Senior Broker/Technician/Team Manager

Job description

We are keen to speak to individuals with a track record in managing a team of broker/technicians in the Lloyd's and London market.
Working for a well established independent Lloyd's broker, you will be responsible for the day to day servicing on an established client base consisting of UK and European Property, Casualty, Financial Lines, Marine and Motor Fleet business.

Duties will include:

  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with Broker partners, colleagues, insurers and other suppliers
  • Demonstrate competency around all matters London Markets to ensure that the highest level of service is delivered to all Brokers personally and by the team
  • Manage own portfolio of broker partners to ensure high levels of advice and service are consistently provided
  • Develop effective relationships with other Client Service Managers in the business - Corporate, CBU, EB, Affinity & Credit
  • Comply with regulatory requirements, industry codes of practice and the Company's own procedures and rules
  • Ensure clients are treated fairly at all times
  • Be aware of and manage any potential conflict of interest


Skills and Experience Required

  • Significant experience in the London Markets / Lloyds / MGA industry
  • Previous experience of managing a team supporting brokers within the Lloyd's market
  • Comprehensive experience of London market documentation including the production of MRC's and slips etc.
