.We are seeking to employ a Senior Insurance Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing underwriting and technical insurance support on a number of complex clients, including captive insurance companies, capital market and commercial insurer transactions as needed, and adhering to tight deadlines, specifically:

• Compile and analyse risk information, insurance language and programs, claims and premium data and will maintain relationships with partner firms such as legal, broking and corporate secretarial
• Prepare, analyse and report on inward and outward insurance/reinsurance documents and agreements
• Perform a high-level claims operational role, assisting colleagues and liaising with clients, adjusters and reinsurers on technical claims matters
• Handle the general insurance administration of a portfolio of captive, commercial and insurance linked securities accounts
• Typical responsibilities include the drafting of policies, endorsements, certificates, invoices, reinsurance agreements and the general coordination of technical insurance matters
• Participation in new business development and prospect meetings
• Develop as part of the client service team additional services to existing clients
• Maintenance and development of client relationships

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• An internationally recognised insurance qualification (ACII, CPCU or equivalent) is essential
• Proven and recent experience in Commercial Lines insurance with sound practical knowledge of all major classes
• Experience working with Captive insurance companies and Insurance Linked Securities is preferred
• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to deliver effective presentations to key stakeholders
• Highly motivated and organised individual who is prepared to meet deadlines that may require time beyond normal business hours
