Senior Proposition Manager

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Proposition Manager for our client who is a world leading insurance and asset management company.

The role will support the Head of Propositions to develop and execute a simplified product portfolio and suite of digital propositions that maximises acquisition and retention opportunities, reduce opex and drive increased digital interactions and good customer outcomes for our clients new challenger brand.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Scope and define market leading products and propositions to drive growth for the challenger brand
  • Be insight led in development of the product and proposition roadmap and deliver clear focus in ensuring the products and propositions are consumer centric
  • Manage, shape, execute, and deliver a product strategy to increase customer lifetime value, engagement and build long term relationships
  • Developing investment business cases, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure buy in
  • Lead the change teams to execute product changes in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively across Retail to share lessons learnt, insights and approach that will benefit the other brands

Skills and Experience

  • Degree level qualification
  • Creative thinker and ability to develop customer propositions
  • Thought leadership and ability to define a vision/strategy and execute against defined targets
  • Strong numerical skills with the ability to uncover and share actionable insights
  • Commercial acumen and customer focus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to deliver results working with cross-functional teams
  • Organised and capable of balancing multiple projects and requests
  • Self-motivated, passionate & can-do attitude
  • Clear understanding of the regulatory environment in which the business operates
  • Thorough understanding of general insurance products, in particular personal lines business
  • Highly commercially aware, ability to understand and evaluate financial business cases/plans and modelling
  • Experience developing and delivering commercially driven customer focused projects
  • Track record of success in financial and operational performance of customer driven projects
  • Evidence of delivering commercially viable digital solutions to meet customer and business needs
  • Strategic thinking and problem solving capability - ability to develop practical solutions with the big picture in mind
