Senior Quantitative Analyst

Job description

Idex is representing an innovative Renewables client who is seeking to appoint a Senior Quantitative Analyst for their London office.

As a Senior Quantitative Analyst, you will have a crucial role in driving profitability through P&L analysis, price forecasting, and developing risk systems that ensure my client's Batteries and Wind products remain competitive in the market.

Working in a team of 6 Analytics professionals, you can expect to own various research projects focused on their Batteries and Wind products. They have recently entered 2 significant long-term battery agreements and a further PPA agreement that will see the business grow significantly.

This is a collaborative team, where you will have the support of an experienced Head of Analytics.

Further responsibilities:

  • BI dashboard creation
  • In-depth data modelling and implementation
  • Data storage and processing
  • Support on hedging strategies

To be a success in this role, you will need a background in the Energy market in an Analytical role. Python OR R coding ability is a prerequisite.
