Job description

We are representing a global law firm that is going through a growth phase across their Scottish offices. One of the growing practices in Scotland is within Occupational Disease where they are looking for a Junior Solicitor to join their team.

A key benefit within this firm is the availability to adapt your workload to your preference. Despite joining a more specialist team you will have the opportunity to be involved in broader personal injury work including employers, public and occupiers liability, historical abuse, medical negligence and road traffic accidents. There will be no requirement to partake in any of the mention areas but the opportunity remains. The occupational disease works ranges from asbestosis, asthma, COPD, cancer, hearing loss, hand-arm vibration, back injury and upper limb disorders.

The firms offices in Scotland work as 1 team and the Partners are required to spend time in both offices to ensure they are supporting and getting to know employees. Joining this firm will actively support and encourage your development by providing on the job training in addition to bringing you along to meetings with clients and counsel whilst you manage your own caseload.

The firm have a comprehensive benefits package which includes 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, hybrid working, income protection, life assurance, pension up to 5% and private medical insurance. You will also receive a yearly bonus, salary review and progression dependent on performance.
