Job description
This global US practice, whose renowned Tax Group, are seeking a NQ-2 PQE Associate to join their vibrant tax team in London.
As part of the firm, you will advise leading private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on the tax aspects of their transactions throughout the investment lifecycle.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an NQ-2 PQE Lawyer to gain experience working on sophisticated tax matters alongside preeminent practitioners.
Responsibilities:
Assist Senior Lawyers in providing critical tax advice and analysis on a broad range of complex, cross-border transactions
Conduct thorough tax due diligence investigations, identify and analyse potential tax issues, and develop effective tax structuring strategies
Draft and negotiate complex tax provisions in transaction documents, collaborating effectively with colleagues in the Private Equity Group
Assist Senior Associates and Partners in managing client relationships and ensuring timely project completion
Qualifications:
Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with a strong academic background
NQ - 2 years of experience in a leading tax practice, with a focus on transactional tax, as well and interest and understanding of UK corporate tax law, with a strong grasp of relevant tax principles
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
