Technical Paraplanner - Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop a thorough understanding of the firm's advice process
• Participating in and delivering comprehensive financial research within agreed timeframes, on solutions and investments including VCTs, Business Relief, AIM, on an independent basis using a range of third-party research tools
• Producing bespoke, non-templated suitability reports
• Producing, as required, tax and other complex calculations and forecasts
• Preparing and interpreting complex plan information with a view to analysis and form recommendations appropriate to the client's circumstances
• Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues at all levels across the firm
• Supporting the Investment & Technical Manager in companywide projects

Technical Paraplanner - Key Requirements:

• Diploma in Financial Planning as a minimum qualification requirement
• Demonstration of knowledge, interest and experience in wide ranging, complex personal financial planning and in the construction of financial planning research and suitability reports
• Experience in an IFA (ideally financial planning) environment, demonstrating quality communications of constructive feedback
