Trainee Financial Adviser (Edinburgh)
As one of the most exciting companies in financial services in the UK, Schroders Personal Wealth have a career opportunity for a self motivated and commercially minded Trainee Financial Adviser with a can-do attitude who is looking to build a career within financial planning.
Alongside a New Client Personal Wealth Adviser the Associate Adviser will manage client introductions from across a number of channels including referrals from the group, identifying and addressing clients financials and acting in the client's best interest at all times.
You are there to ensure you meet the needs of their clients, so most of your time will be spent alongside experienced advisers, talking to new and existing clients, providing financial advice to review and meet immediate and ongoing financial goals.
You will have a dedicated area to support, and you'll help manage a designated portfolio of introductions within the region, writing reports and acting as an introducer for additional advice when required.
As you gain experience in the role you will have the opportunity to learn new skills which builds on your existing knowledge, enabling you to progress to a Personal Wealth Adviser.
They are looking for diploma qualified, energetic, professional people who are excited by the difference they can make.
You will seek to understand client needs, aspirations and concerns to ensure they are provided with the right type of personalized support or service.
You will work with a small group of advisers focusing on a specific geographic area which will include a group of Lloyds Banking Group branches who have the mandate to work with you and provide quality introductions.
In return you will receive a competitive salary, a cash sum of 4% in addition to take as cash or spend on extra benefits. 9% pension contribution to start and a generous annual bonus scheme.
You must have financial services experience and Full Diploma to be successful in your application.
