Underwriting Manager - International Wholesale Commercial Property
£100,000 - £110,000 + bonus and car allowance

A major international Insurer is looking to appoint a Wholesale Underwriting Manager in their London Commercial Property insurance team.

The Underwriting Manager will drive the growth and profitability of the UK and international Property insurance book, develop and manage key Broker relationships, ensuring the highest level of customer service and train/ develop the team where appropriate. The successful candidate will be responsible for the profit and loss of the team, developing and implementing strategy and reporting to senior management.

Candidate wishing to be considered for this role must have a strong background in Commercial Property insurance underwriting and experience with international major accounts, coupled with management experience. A proven ability to build relationships and negotiate with Brokers and clients alike is part and parcel, along with the ability to construct and understand complex policy wordings.
