Client Delivery Manager
New York, Florida, California, Texas..... Are you an experienced Insurance BDM or Commercial Account Executive who would love to work out in the states, but can't physically move over there due to commitments/family life?
IDEX have an exceptional, rare opportunity to join the sister wholesale business of a large, independent Brokerage in the UK as a Wholesale Marine Cargo BDM.
Based from home you'll manage 30-35 Surplus Lines Brokers in the US, building rapport, driving enquiries and identifying new broker relationships, utilising face to face and online visits.
Your new company specialises in helping US Insurance Brokers place Ocean Marine / Stock Throughput cover insurance into the Lloyd's market (They have their own Lloyd's Broker in-house too so will have a competitive advantage in the market)
As Business Development Manager, you'll have the opportunity to travel to the states quarterly, meet your existing and prospect Brokers, network, entertain your clients, all whilst experiencing different parts of a fun and fascinating country!
Marine / Cargo experience would be brilliant, but not essential as it's one individual product to learn and can be picked up quickly. What is important though is YOU, your willingness to add value to your Broker partners, you'll be driven and ambitious with an eye for new business.
Due to the time difference, there is flexibility in the hours you do during the day to ensure you are able to adequately service your customers - No more 9-5!
Like the sound of the role, but worried you won't hit the ground running straight away? We are looking for a self-starter absolutely, however you won't be thrown straight into the deep end, one of the Directors of this business will accompany you on your travels for the first 6-12 months as you build up momentum and confidence.
On offer is a base salary between £60,000 - £80,000 + package, flexibility working from home. (Various Offices across the UK, so you can work within an office if you like!)
