​The brief

To find a technology underwriter professional with international product experience for a growing division of CNA Hardy, a specialist insurance provider, in Copenhagen.

Our solution

We spent time understanding the key priorities that defined success for CNA in this role, what great would look like after 12 months, and the behaviours and skills needed for this role.

Another important aspect was understanding CNA’s attraction strategy, especially their employee value proposition to attract and retain talent - why an individual would want to work for the company and build a career with them.

Once we captured this, we conducted extensive research including those of CNA’s competitors and created a defined market map and talent acquisition plan. This resulted in numerous follow-ups and conversations and finally a short list of five strong applicants who were all interviewed within three weeks.

The results

From these interviews, one offer was made and accepted, with a secondary candidate being brought in to the business for an additional role – all within a five week timeline from job registration to offer accepted.
