Job description

Here you'll be joining the executive team of this respected commercial broking group to inherit a profitable and well-cultivated book of business.

The income of your new book will be around £275k, made up of clients paying £20k - £60k premiums.

Client-wise, the mantra here is 'the quirkier the better'.

It's a technical culture here, full of curious minds who love nothing more than really interesting clients with often unique needs.

Mines, international tech, marine; all areas where these guys thrive. And they have the technical support and market access to place this.

There are no targets for new business here although any growth will see you benefit from a bonus on all pieces of new business you write.

This is up and above a market leading retention bonus which will benefit you from day one.

And here the Executives get all the support they'd ever need.
So, for you, it means day to day all of your claims, admin, broking and new business prospecting is handled for you.

The Directors describe the culture as an innovative place to work where the approach is all about sound client management rather than a push for new business at all costs.

And if you are someone who has a drive to progress further into leadership then these guys are actively planning succession within the business and have earmarked a clear succession path for this role.

Ideally, you'll be an established Account Executive in Scotland who thrives in a more nimble, independent environment.
