Account Executive - Estates & Heritage Property

Job description

Let's cut to it. Most Account Executive jobs in insurance sound the same.

This one doesn't.

This isn't a generic commercial lines gig. This is about insuring castles, stately homes, historic estates - the stuff mainstream insurers can't (or won't) deal with.

And if you've ever worked with HNW, rural, or heritage risks, you'll know why this is a big deal.

The business?

A well-backed, London-based venture that's rewriting the rulebook.

No legacy baggage.

No endless committees.

Just a clear, well-defined target market that needs a better way of doing insurance. It's niche, it's high-value, and it's growing fast.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Owning relationships with a small, select group of specialist brokers (5-7 to start with).
  • Getting involved across the full insurance lifecycle - quotes, presentations, underwriting referrals, renewals.
  • Talking heritage risk with authority, whether that's in front of a broker, estate manager, or HNW client.
  • Feeding real-world market intelligence back into a proposition that's still evolving - and that you'll help shape.

What we're looking for:

  • You've worked in HNW, rural, property, or heritage insurance (broking, underwriting, or claims).
  • You're credible with senior stakeholders and not shy of presenting to demanding clients.
  • You can operate independently but know when to collaborate.
  • You're based in or around London - and ideally flexible to cover West Country/West of England when needed

What's in it for you?

  • Around £55k base + car allowance + bonus (up to 20%).
  • A genuinely flexible setup: WFH, with 2 days a week in London alongside an established Sales Director.
  • Early influence in a business with serious investment and ambition - your ideas won't get stuck in committee.
  • Clear progression opportunities as the business scales.
  • If you want a role where you're a cog in a very big machine - this isn't it.

If you want to build something in a market that hasn't been served properly until now - this is worth a conversation.
