Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking to take the next step in your career?
Our client, a well-established local broker recently acquired by a larger national group, is seeking a talented handler to join their Chester team. This is an exciting time to come on board - blending the friendly, client-focused culture of an independent broker with the stability, resources, and progression of a national brand.
The Role
You'll work closely with a team of Account Executives to provide first-class service to a diverse portfolio of commercial clients. From renewals and mid-term adjustments to preparing presentations and liaising with insurers, you'll be a key part of ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Account Executives with all aspects of commercial account handling.
- Manage client renewals, amendments, and documentation efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with both clients and insurers.
- Handle a varied book of business across Property, Liability, Motor Fleet, and Package policies.
- Provide technical support and ensure compliance with company and FCA guidelines.
About You
- Experienced in commercial insurance account handling (broker or insurer background).
- Confident communicator with great attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Cert CII qualification (or working towards) preferred, but not essential.
