An established independent chartered broker based in Gloucester is looking for an Account Handler to join their growing commercial insurance team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Account Executives, supporting a varied portfolio of commercial clients across both the open market and delegated scheme arrangements.
The Account Handler will be responsible for managing day-to-day servicing of commercial policies, including renewals, mid-term adjustments, new business quotations, and client enquiries. You will liaise directly with insurers, underwriters, and clients to ensure efficient policy placement and high standards of customer service, while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with FCA requirements.
This position would suit an organised and detail-oriented insurance professional with experience in commercial lines, strong technical knowledge, and confidence working with both open market placements and schemes. You will be proactive, client-focused, and comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
