Account Handler (Personal Lines)

Job description

Our client is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team in Hamilton. As a leading insurance Broker, they pride themselves on providing their clients with exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal lines insurance policies, including home, motor, and travel insurance.

The role will involve working closely with clients to identify their insurance needs and providing them with advice on suitable products and services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.


  • Managing a portfolio of personal lines insurance policies, including home, motor, and travel insurance
  • Providing advice to clients on insurance products and services
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, Insurers, and other stakeholders
  • Processing policy renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
