Area Director (Commercial Broking)

If someone was to describe you, what would they say?

Inspirational? Leads from the front? Ambitious? A people person?

That's the type of qualities this major broking group is looking for in this newly created regional role. Here you'll play a key leadership remit across the Scottish region, driving the next phase of the growth agenda.

You'll be leading a regional office network which controls a multi-million revenue book across the commercial and corporate insurance markets. So what does that look like day to day?....

  • Running the regional P&L
  • Leadership to the individual branch leaders and operational heads
  • Driving the brand recognition across events and industry functions
  • Strategic relationship of key client accounts
  • Talent acquisition and M&A development
  • Strategic sales development of the region

You'll be working with a well-integrated and experienced leadership team who are all skilled professionals, allowing you to really focus on the higher-level strategic work.

And as part of the wider succession planning within the group, you'll have a clear route into a bigger role in as quickly as two years.

To be considered, you'll need a strong background in the commercial insurance market and be operating currently in a Head of Office, Sales Leader, Executive Leader or Head of Department from either the insurer or broker side.
