Associate/Senior Associate - Housing Development & Regeneration

Job description

Join a nationally recognised Residential Development team, part of one of the UK's largest real estate practices. The team works with major housebuilders, mixed-use developers, affordable housing providers, landowners, public sector bodies, and investors on complex residential and regeneration projects across the country.
From acquisitions and disposals to strategic land, planning agreements, joint ventures, mixed-use schemes, and regeneration, the work is high-profile, varied, and commercially focused.

About the Role

You'll provide specialist advice on all aspects of residential development, from title due diligence and land acquisitions to more complex strategic work.
Associates will lead suitable transactions and support larger deals alongside senior colleagues. Senior Associates will lead on transactions, supervise junior team members, and coordinate multi-disciplinary input. You'll receive tailored training, ongoing career development, and mentoring from experienced colleagues.
This role does not involve domestic conveyancing - our dedicated plot sales team handles that so you'll be free to focus on high-value commercial development matters.

About You

  • Qualified solicitor (minimum 1 PQE) with experience or a strong interest in residential development
  • Strong commercial awareness and client service skills
  • Confident managing your own caseload and building lasting client relationships
  • Collaborative, proactive, and keen to contribute to business development

What's on Offer

A competitive salary, hybrid working, generous leave, private health-care options, and comprehensive training and career progression support.
