Its not easy finding something which is going to merge these skills together however you want that combination of insurance work and management then we have the ideal solution for you.
This independently owned insurance brokerage has created a brand-new role within their commercial team which manage clients across the leisure, hospitality, retail, tourism and agricultural markets.
They have a small, but brilliant team of three handlers which you'll be coming in to manage and develop.
Day to day you'll oversee the team so you'll be handling work allocation, performance, training, referrals, recruitment - all the great stuff which will help the team develop and hit their goals.
Up and above that you'll still play a hands-on insurance role, managing some of the key renewals, complex referrals and insurer dealings.
The culture here is very much a local team effort where you'll see the team grow to over double its current size in line with the growth of the overall business.
Ideally, you'll have an insurance broking background and some skills in the commercial insurance arena.
And it'll suit if you are either an experienced manager or if you are a handler just now wanting your first taste of leadership.
Hybrid working is available and ideally, you'll be based in or around the Carlisle region.
Salary to £35,000 plus a rage of employee benefits.
