Idex Consulting have partnered with an accomplished employee benefits and pensions administration services who are looking for talented individuals to join their team.

Client Director/Senior Client Director is responsible for the strategic commercial development and operational management of client relationships and service solutions for an agreed portfolio of clients.

Client Director/Senior Client Director will identify and implement commercial development strategies, as agreed with the Client Portfolio Leader, and work with Portfolio Operations Officer to implement operational effectiveness plans across an allocated portfolio of clients, in order to achieve targeted commercial outcomes performance goals, whilst at the same time, mitigating business and commercial risk.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for account management of a specified number of key clients
  • Oversee day-to-day client and operational activities of such accounts, based on an agreed set of KPIs
  • Understand and meet client needs effectively, managing risks and adhering to procedures
  • Lead the growth of the portfolio of clients' revenue and contribution lines aligned with internal targets set by the Client Portfolio Leader
  • Operate as a commercial lead for clients, implementing creative financial and contractual constructs as appropriate
  • Lead and manage team/s efficiently and cost-effectively, maintaining quality service at fees that are competitive within the pensions market
  • Ensure that the quality of service provided to stakeholders is continuously high and improves year on year
  • Manage costs and provide necessary financial information for business and audits
  • Encourage mentorship and the continuous development of direct team, supporting career progression where possible

Experience & Technical knowledge:

  • Strong business development-focused account management experience, with the proven ability to manage multiple high-growth accounts, whilst also effectively owning and transforming the operational delivery
  • Experience in pensions management with a deep understanding of the challenges for employers and trustees
  • P&L management experience
  • Experience formulating creative client deals
  • Administration operational delivery knowledge
