Our client is a leading insurance broker in Scotland, and they are currently seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join their team in Central Glasgow. As a Commercial Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, providing a first-class service and building strong relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, providing a high level of service and support.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of policy renewals, adjustments, and claims.
• Identify opportunities for growth within your portfolio and proactively cross-sell additional products and services.
• Manage client expectations and negotiate with Underwriters to obtain the best possible terms.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system.

Skills and experience:

• Previous experience in a commercial insurance role, ideally within a broker environment.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance products and underwriting principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a large portfolio of clients.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
