Commercial Account Manager

Job description

When choosing the next destination on you career journey, there are some major advantages of the larger broking business.

Market leading benefits package, huge scope for learning and development and career options that can take you anywhere in the world are all on the table here.

Take the current boss of this broking business for example. Working up through the ranks into a huge leadership role is something that's very much achievable in the large broking houses.

These guys are one of the UKs best known and respected names in the insurance space and here you'll be joining them in the role of Commercial Account Manager in their Newcastle offices.

Having gone through some major operational change, the client proposition here is much more than typical insurance broking.

Its all about being a trusted risk advisor to clients.

And that means you'll be working closely with SME and mid-corporate level businesses to support them through their insurance process from designing risk programs and new business placement through to servicing the renewal process.

All the while you will be linking in with in-house claims, risk management and business development teams.

Client-wise you'll be working with a huge range of clientele from tech firms and life sciences through to charities, engineers and construction.

And the hybrid working policy will see you based at home for three days per week and coming not the office for collaboration days the other two.

So if you want somewhere that you can rapidly progress and have some serious L&D options at your fingertips then this will suit.

Ideally you'll have some commercial insurance experience from either a broker or insurer.
