Commercial Broker

Job description

When you join one of the bigger brokerages, you get a massive helping hand up your career ladder.

Which is down to a few things worth highlighting.

The learning and development opportunities are second to none where you have mentoring, technical training, industry workshops and access to events, all at your fingertips from day one.

That path of discovery makes the journey of progression much quicker, and successful for you.

And once you are more experienced, the larger brokerages can offer so much more in the way of career opportunities.
That can mean becoming a specialist and become more niche.

Or moving into a different part of insurance such as risk, claims or due diligence.

Or you can move location within the business whether that's London, the US, Paris, you name it, its on the table.

So, if progression is on your mind, then this newly created Commercial Broker position in Cumbria will definitely tick a box or two.

Here you'll be working with some of the region's top SME and mid-corporate businesses, providing broking support across placement, MTAs and renewals whilst working face to face with client alongside the team of Account Executives.
Ideally, you'll have some insurance experience behind you already and a willingness for professional development through the CII.

These guys work on a hybrid basis with your time split evenly between the Cumbrian offices and at home.

Your package will include market leading pension scheme, health care and life cover.
