Compliance Manager - Acquisition and Representatives

Job description

This role is to ensure that any acquisitions and respective business integrations happen smoothly and successfully from a compliance perspective.

You will be;

  • Providing compliance support for pre-deal and due diligence activity
  • Preparing for the FCA change in control notifications
  • Building integration plans to respond to any due diligence findings and align with group compliance arrangements
  • Overseeing and supporting acquired firms with migration and mitigation activities
  • Working with the wider compliance team to understand existing arrangements and ensure smooth integration of incoming businesses
  • Liaising with Senior Management and other departments (operations, IT, M&A, HR, finance) and provide compliance input on their integration activities
  • Supporting the Compliance Assurance Manager when activity allows

A key part of the role is to ensure the best interests of our customers are met and regulatory requirements satisfied by

  • Promoting a culture of continual improvement in the quality of the customer experience
  • Implementing and embedding appropriate policies and procedures to guide and inform the way we work and promote the right behaviours.
  • Working in partnership with the business in monitoring and responding to relevant KPIs, new developments - internal or external, providing pro-active support and constructive advice on compliance and related matters and be seen as a 'Trusted Advisor'
