The opportunity
A leading UK law firm is looking to expand its independent healthcare team with the addition of a Corporate Solicitor. The successful candidate will join a highly regarded national corporate practice known for advising clients throughout the business life cycle - from start-ups and scale-ups to well-established corporates.

The team
This dedicated healthcare team forms part of a wider corporate department, comprising over 50 Fee Earners and 20 Partners many of whom are recommended in leading legal directories.
With significant sector expertise, the team supports a diverse client base including:

  • Care home operators and domiciliary care providers
  • Private GP and dental practices, opticians and pharmacies
  • Allied healthcare professionals and clinics
  • Medical device companies and healthcare staffing agencies

The role
You'll work closely with Partners and Senior Lawyers to deliver high-quality legal services to clients in the independent healthcare space. Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising on M&A transactions, joint ventures, disposals and restructures
  • Drafting and negotiating corporate transaction documents
  • Supporting regulatory compliance, corporate governance and risk management
  • Collaborating with specialists in employment, real estate and litigation
  • Building and managing client relationships with a commercial and proactive mindset
  • Contributing to business development activity and thought leadership


What we're looking for

  • Qualified Solicitor (NQ-4 years' PQE)
  • Strong grounding in corporate law, ideally with exposure to healthcare or other regulated sectors
  • Exceptional drafting, communication and negotiation skills
  • Client-focused, commercially minded and solutions-driven
  • Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team
