Corporate Insurance Senior Associate

Job description

A rare opportunity for a talented Corporate Insurance Senior Associate to join the London office of a top-tier international law firm. The successful candidate will play a key role in advising leading insurers, re-insurers, and financial institutions on strategic transactions and governance matters.

The team's work spans public and private M&A, Part VII transfers, portfolio acquisitions, and complex regulatory-driven restructurings, with increasing involvement in emerging areas such as InsurTech, data protection, and cross-border compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Leading on major corporate insurance transactions, from instruction through to completion.
Advising boards and senior stakeholders on strategic and regulatory issues.
Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.
Driving client relationships and business development opportunities.
Collaborating with international offices on multi-jurisdictional mandates.

You

6-8 years' PQE (or equivalent) in corporate insurance or financial services work.

Proven track record managing complex M&A or corporate transactions.

Excellent technical, drafting, and client-handling skills.

Strong commercial acumen and leadership qualities.

Solid academic background (minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent).
