We're partnering with a well-established independent insurance broker in Birmingham to recruit a Commercial New Business Account Executive.
This role is ideal for a driven, sales-focused insurance professional who wants to grow a significant commercial book, while benefiting from an initial inherited portfolio of around £50k income to get them up and running.
The Role
Developing new commercial insurance business across SME and/or mid-market clients
Inheriting and servicing an initial £50k book of business to provide immediate income and client exposure
Building long-term client relationships with a view to retention and portfolio growth
Generating new opportunities through networking, referrals and proactive prospecting
Working closely with Account Handlers and insurer partners to deliver tailored solutions
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in commercial insurance new business (broker environment)
Strong sales drive with the ability to open doors and convert opportunities
Solid technical knowledge across commercial insurance products
Confidence managing your own pipeline and growing a book
