A leading Global Insurer is seeking an Energy Underwriter to focus on UK and international Energy Casualty insurance business.

The book spans a range of sectors i.e. Oil and Gas, Power Generation (including Renewables), Chemical, Petrochemical and Transmission & Distribution. The business is both primary and excess and cases range from £20k GWP to £400k.

The Energy Underwriter will write renewal and new business from a number of non-US territories, with a significant portion being from Latin America. The role will naturally entail providing high level service to Brokers and attending market/ sector functions where appropriate.

Candidates will be considered from an Energy and/or Casualty insurance background, either underwriting or broking. Confident relationship building skills, flexibility and self-motivation are key to success in the role.
