Job description

I am recruiting an IFA for a well established business with offices in the heart of London and in Sherborne in the South West of England.

The role is based in the Sherborne office and is as a result of continued organic growth. The successful IFA will join a business which has total FUM of c.£1bn from their Wealth Management and Investment Management proposition.

The successful IFA will join the team in Sherborne which currently has 17 members of staff including admin support and a paraplanner. Full back office is provided.

The role will come with a small book of clients initially c.60 with FUM of approximately £25M. 90% of new business opportunities come from existing client referrals in addition to strong links with local solicitors and accountants who provide good quality leads.
You will be expected to work closely with the IM team / fund managers to look to generate new leads and grow the client book.
The role offers flexible working with 2 days a week in the office in Sherborne and 3 days from home.

Requirements for the role:

  • Level 4 diploma or equivalent, ideally through the CISI or CII
  • Ability to build relationships with the existing client book to seek further opportunities
  • Be a team player within a small office


In return the successful IFA will receive a basic salary from £45k - £60k DOE plus a good bonus scheme and benefits.
