Job description

Are you a talented and ambitious lawyer with 3-7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) specialising in funds and real estate funds? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working on complex transactions? If so, then this exciting opportunity at a top-tier London law firm could be perfect for you.


In this role, you will join a dynamic Funds Group and play a key part in advising clients on the legal aspects of private funds. Your responsibilities include:

  • Advising on fund formation, structuring, and regulation across various asset classes (private equity, real estate, infrastructure, etc.)

  • Assisting with fundraising activities for private funds

  • Drafting and negotiating fund documentation

  • Providing legal advice on fund investments and exits

  • Working closely with partners and other team members to deliver exceptional client service


About You:

  • You are a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a strong academic background

  • You have 3-7 years of PQE specialising in funds with a proven track record of success

  • You have excellent knowledge of the relevant regulations governing private funds

  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • You are a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The Funds team is band 1 ranked and the covers manager and investor side work and secondaries. The funds team's clients range from new start up managers to established international financial institutions. The role offers:
