Head of Operations

Job description

We have an exciting exclusive role with our nationwide financial services provider client, who has recently undergone a number of acquisitions, and our looking to bring on a Head of Operations to manage on an interim-basis.

The successful candidate will have experience in working with organisations and teams who have recently merged, successfully bolstering team cultures, integrating systems and mentoring/guiding colleagues.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop, improve and implement operational strategies and process improvement plans to increase productivity, reduce cost whilst ensuring quality and service levels are maintained
  • Collaborate with Senior Operations Team to ensure acquisitions and clients are on-boarded smoothly ensuring continuity of service
  • Evaluate individual and team performance management including capability and capacity planning
  • Monitor and provide regular MI reporting on team performance and productivity, SLAs and workloads as required

Experience and Skills:

  • Coming from a strong background within an FCA regulated environment, preferably IFA/Financial Planning with astute commercial and business awareness
  • Having experience in acquisitions/mergers
  • Ability to utilise technology, systems/software to manage advice-based businesses
