IDEX Consulting are supporting a growing National Wealth Management and Corporate Consultancy in their search for an Independent Financial Adviser to join their established team in Leeds.

Our client has a network of locations across the UK; are experts in providing impartial financial solutions; are committed to providing client-centric advice which is built on the foundations of mutual trust; allowing their clients to take control of their financial futures.

Due to a retiring Adviser, we are searching for an experienced Financial Adviser to take the lead on an existing portfolio of clients across the region; focusing on providing a client-centric advice solutions across pensions, investments and protection. As part of the role, you will also be required to network with colleagues on the corporate side of the business; focusing on growing the opportunity to provide financial advice to individuals within existing corporate clients.

Responsibilities

• Meet with existing and prospective clients to explain our service and take them through a comprehensive financial planning process
• Work collaboratively with the support and operational teams to produce clear, accurate and compliant financial plans for clients
• Attend functions and events to build professional relationships and promote the firm
• Create new business opportunities and win new clients through professional and client referrals, whilst exploring leads from corporate functions
• Manage an portfolio of c. 100 private clients
• Help potential clients make positive decisions about their financial future and to implement any recommendations

What we're searching for

• Diploma qualified and ideally Chartered or working towards this qualification
• Held Certified Functions and Statement of Professional Standing
• Experience in delivering quality fee-based business or cash flow modelling to wealthy private clients
• Able to demonstrate a client following or introducers to grow the opportunity for new business generation
• Experience of IHT/Estate planning would be considered advantageous but not essential
• Successful track record within Financial Advice
