Operational Ownership

  • Manage all internal communication channels (e.g. intranet, email, Teams/Yammer, SharePoint)
  • Own the creation, design, production and publishing of content, ensuring brand consistency
  • Coordinate with Marketing and external partners where needed
  • Maintain governance processes to ensure accuracy, clarity and consistency across all internal messaging

Leadership Communication Support

  • Prepare talking points, scripts, presentations and written updates for senior leaders
  • Provide messaging and editorial support for company-wide updates, strategic announcements and leadership communications
  • Advise senior stakeholders on communication planning linked to operational or strategic decisions

Experience & Skills Required

  • Experience in internal communications, corporate communications or a related field
  • Experience within financial services, wealth management or another regulated environment (preferred)
  • Proven ability to operate independently as a self-sufficient communications practitioner
  • Exceptional writing ability with precision, clarity and authenticity
  • Experience managing multi-channel communication programmes from planning to delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working directly with senior leaders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word) and intranet/email publishing tools
  • Ability to interpret engagement analytics and use data to improve communication effectiveness
  • Creative thinker with high attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Comfortable operating in a standalone role with tight deadlines and shifting priorities

Why This Role Matters

This role ensures colleagues remain informed, engaged and aligned with the organisation's purpose and goals. By shaping clear, timely and meaningful communication, the Internal Communications Manager contributes to a unified colleague experience and a strong cultural identity during an exciting period of growth.
