A unique role for a growing MGA in the market who seek an experienced PI/Financial Lines Underwriter to join the business.

Undertaking expert analysis of submissions provided by brokers in a timely and efficient manner. Assisting the Managing Director with preparing raters, narratives, and analysis. Attending client meetings (either in person or via Zoom/Teams) with the Managing Director and being responsible for notes and summaries from the meeting. Presenting opinions on risks to the Managing Director for peer discussion and ultimately decision making on whether or not to write the risk and on what terms. Dealing with brokers on new business inquiries. Large responsibility for the renewal book working closely with the Managing Director on decision making on renewal terms. Assisting with wording and coverage reviews, endorsement drafting and signing and policy document approval. Working on ad hoc projects including updates to rating tools, new product development or initiatives. Assisting the Managing Director with strategy documents for new binders. Develop the company's European FI and D&O portfolio with the view to developing into a Head of Europe if successful.
