Junior Account Executive (Commercial Insurance)
Job description
For this one you'll need experience in commercial insurance, either within broking or underwriting.
If you are in Account Handling or Underwriting and have an ambition to become a successful Senior Account Executive, then this is perfect for you.
In two years' time you will be managing your own £1m + portfolio of commercial clients, benefiting from the autonomy to manage your own diary and earning up to £80,000 pa.
But how do you get there?...
Well, this established insurance broking business has designed a structured 2 year initial plan to mentor, support and develop you from Handler/Underwriter into a fully fledged Executive.
Initially you'll pick up a small book of commercial clients which you'll be tasked with servicing, under the guidance of the leadership team.
Week by week you'll benefit from further client introductions, developing your own introducer relationships and taking ownership of cases passed via the leaders.
And don't worry, you won't be chucked in at the deep end with meetings. You'll be fully supported by the Directors who'll accompany you until you are confident to deal with clients on your own.
As you progress, you'll be building your book, driving your own initiatives for networking, market relations or even developing a niche idea you may have.
You'll be mentored all the time, allowing you to develop both technically and in the nuances of proper client management.
This brokerage covers all areas of commercial insurance and has clients ranging from SME level to corporate and public sector accounts.
That means you'll be exposed to loads of industry sectors giving you insight right across the business arena.
