Lead Scheme Underwriter

Job description

This is the ideal next career step for you if you are in a Senior Underwriting role and want to step up your game and take ownership of a more strategic remit.

Here you'll be joining the UK schemes division of this flagship insurer who manage a series of profitable Property & Casualty based schemes across their distribution network.

Your role here is to work strategically with all relevant stakeholders and key broker partners to monitor and develop scheme performance within the core underwriting framework.

Day to day you'll be the lead referral point for scheme strategy plus you'll be designing and executing planned initiatives to help drive both revenue growth and process improvement.

It's a brilliant platform to operate at a UK wide level within this highly respected industry player.

And you'll enjoy the benefits here which include a 10% annual bonus, 29 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and 14% pension contribution.

Ideally, you'll have a thorough track record in Property & Casualty underwriting with sound stakeholder management skills and good knowledge of schemes.

It's a hybrid role requiring some time in the office, so you'll need to be based in Central/Central Belt Scotland for this one.
