Our client, a global insurer is looking to expand their London team by appointing a Major Loss Energy Claims Adjuster.
The role will involve the managing of major loss claims handling enquiries, coverage determination, quantum analysis and legal liability assessment, where appropriate. You will prepare and evaluate investigation strategies, which identify critical issues affecting liability, causation, and damages. You will appropriately consider opportunities for third party contribution. You will make an independent evaluation of liability and damages and analyse exposures and trade-offs between defence costs and settlement/judgement costs as news information becomes available.

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience dealing with major loss energy claims along with catastrophe management experience. Ability to delivery technical training to claims handling teams along with the ability to influence claims stakeholders to effectively direct claims strategy. Strong senior stakeholder management experience, both internal and external is essential!
