Marine Hull Account Handler

Job description

You're expertise lies within marine, your knowledge expands more so on the Hull side to marine rather than yachts and pleasure-craft. You're advice led, professional and extremely thorough with your approach to client service.

Client retention is very important to you

You know you are great at what you do, but perhaps you do not feel rewarded or recognised for the hours you put in. Money is of course important, but so is personal recognition.

You would prefer to operate in a smaller, more collaborative business where your work will become better noticed. An opportunity to have a voice, and have a more hands on approach with your clients will interest you.

Working for a Global Broker is great in some ways, however you have various teams who focus on different parts of the policy cycle / risk and it detracts you from building a strong relationship with your client.

IDEX are delighted to working closely with an expanding, mid-sized Independent Lloyds Broker in London who are looking for 2 people to join the team.

You will look after a portfolio of clients across UK and Europe, focusing your time on Marine Hull risks. You'll support the leadership team with account management, placement, the processing of slips, endorsements and re-broking, working in a 35+ people business where the MD knows each and every person in the building.

As an integral part of the team, you'll be rewarded with a basic salary up to £80,000 dependent upon experience. This including home working flexibility and comprehensive benefits package.
