Job description
Are you looking to join a forward-thinking wealth management business that's changing the way clients experience financial advice? This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to be part of a growing firm that invests heavily in both people and technology.
Why join us?
- Modern, innovative approach - we've stripped away outdated systems and processes to create a truly efficient, technology-led advice model.
- Hybrid working - enjoy flexibility with 3 days in our central Cardiff office and 2 days working from home.
- People-focused culture - we're building a collaborative environment where Paraplanners, Advisers, and Client Services work seamlessly together.
- Career development - full support towards professional qualifications (QCF Level 4 and beyond) with ongoing training and mentoring.
- Backed for growth - with the support of a specialist investor, we're building a leading national wealth management business, creating excellent long-term career opportunities.
- Impactful work - your input will directly shape the quality of advice and outcomes for clients, helping them achieve their financial goals.
- Supportive team environment - you'll be working alongside experienced colleagues who share knowledge and celebrate success.
The role
As a Paraplanner, you'll provide high-quality technical support to Advisers, including preparing compliant suitability reports, researching solutions, and carrying out financial calculations (CGT, AA, IHT, etc.). You'll play a key role in ensuring recommendations are accurate, compliant, and client-focused.
What we're looking for
- Experience as a Paraplanner, with strong report-writing and research skills.
- Good knowledge of financial products including pensions, investments, and protection.
- Ideally Diploma (Level 4) qualified, or working towards it (study support provided).
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
