A Global Insurer, with a strong reputation in the Financial Lines space, is seeking a Professional Indemnity insurance Underwriter, to work from their London office 3 days per week and 2 from home. This business place a high importance on nurturing long term client relationships, as well the development of their employees.

The focus of the role is traditional professions including construction and professional services firms, however there is also some Miscellaneous and Tech PI business and some risks blended with Cyber. Two thirds of the book is UK domiciled insurance risks and the remainder emanates mainly from Australia, New Zealand and Canada. The role will entail:

• Building relationships with key Brokers (particularly the top 6 i.e. Aon, Marsh, Willis, Gallagher, Lockton and Howden) and negotiating with them.
• Underwriting existing business.
• Pursuing new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both traditional professions and more emerging markets, both UK and international, gained within the London Market. Candidates will also be considered from the regional PI insurance market. Get in touch for a confidential chat to find out more.
